Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Los Angeles Hauling Service. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to our website, your submission of transportation quote requests, and your use of our heavy hauling, equipment transport, vehicle shipping, and related services.
By accessing this website, submitting a quote request, accepting a transportation arrangement, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Please do not use our website or services if you do not agree with these terms.
Our Transportation Services
Los Angeles Hauling Service provides and/or arranges transportation services for heavy equipment, construction machinery, farm equipment, trucks, trailers, boats, recreational vehicles, passenger vehicles, oversized loads, and other permitted cargo.
Services may include transportation planning, carrier coordination, permit assistance, pilot-car coordination, route planning, pickup scheduling, delivery scheduling, and related logistical support.
The exact role of Los Angeles Hauling Service for a particular shipment will be identified in the applicable quote, rate confirmation, service agreement, bill of lading, or other transportation document.
When transportation is performed by an independent motor carrier, that carrier is a separate business responsible for operating its vehicles, employing its drivers, maintaining required authority and insurance, securing the shipment, and completing transportation.
Quote Requests and Estimates
Submitting a quote request does not create a binding transportation contract and does not guarantee that a carrier, driver, trailer, permit, or requested transportation date will be available.
Quotes provided through our website, by telephone, by email, or by text message are preliminary estimates unless expressly confirmed as final in writing.
Transportation pricing may be affected by:
- Equipment or vehicle type
- Actual length, width, height, and weight
- Operating or non-operating condition
- Pickup and delivery locations
- Route accessibility and restrictions
- Required permits and escort vehicles
- Loading and unloading requirements
- Specialized trailers or equipment
- Fuel prices, tolls, storage, and detention
- Carrier and driver availability
- Weather, traffic, and road conditions
- Governmental or regulatory requirements
A final price may differ from an initial estimate if the shipment information is incorrect, incomplete, or changes after the quote is provided.
A shipment is not confirmed until the applicable transportation documents have been accepted and any required deposit or payment has been received.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information concerning the shipment.
You must provide or disclose, where applicable:
- The equipment, machinery, vehicle, trailer, boat, RV, or cargo type
- The make, model, and year
- Accurate length, width, height, and weight
- Attachments, modifications, or aftermarket equipment
- Whether the shipment is operational or non-operational
- Fluid leaks, mechanical concerns, or safety issues
- Pickup and delivery addresses
- Loading and unloading requirements
- Property-access restrictions
- Any hazardous, regulated, or prohibited material
- Any special handling or transportation instructions
Manufacturer specifications may not include buckets, blades, booms, accessories, loaded materials, modifications, or aftermarket parts. You are responsible for confirming the actual dimensions and weight before transportation.
You represent that you own the property being shipped or have legal authorization from the owner to arrange its transportation.
Additional charges may apply when the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, or materially different from the shipment presented at pickup.
Pickup and Delivery Access
You are responsible for ensuring that the pickup and delivery locations are safe, lawful, and reasonably accessible to the transport vehicle and trailer.
You must disclose relevant access conditions, including:
- Narrow roads or limited turning space
- Low bridges or overhead wires
- Weight-restricted roads or bridges
- Gated or controlled access
- Unpaved roads
- Trees, structures, or other obstructions
- Construction zones
- Restricted loading areas
- Facility appointments or operating hours
If the requested address cannot be accessed safely or legally, the driver or carrier may select a nearby safe and lawful pickup or delivery location.
Waiting time, detention, storage, redelivery, failed pickup attempts, or special access requirements may result in additional charges.
Loading and Unloading
Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, you are responsible for ensuring that the shipment can be safely loaded and unloaded at the scheduled locations.
Non-operational vehicles or equipment may require a winch, forklift, crane, ramps, rigging, towing equipment, additional labor, or other specialized assistance. These requirements must be disclosed before transportation is scheduled.
A driver or carrier may refuse to load or unload any shipment that presents an unreasonable safety risk, cannot be legally transported, or differs materially from the description provided.
Permits, Escorts, and Route Requirements
Oversized or overweight shipments may require permits, pilot or escort vehicles, route surveys, utility coordination, law-enforcement assistance, restricted travel hours, or special routing.
Permit and route requirements are determined by governmental authorities and may affect transportation pricing, pickup dates, delivery dates, and route selection.
Los Angeles Hauling Service does not guarantee that a requested route, permit, pickup date, delivery date, or travel schedule will be approved.
Pickup and Delivery Schedules
Pickup and delivery dates are estimates unless a specific date is expressly guaranteed in a signed written agreement.
Transportation schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, road closures, inspections, permit delays, driver hours-of-service requirements, equipment breakdowns, loading delays, carrier availability, safety concerns, and other circumstances outside reasonable control.
You agree to provide a working telephone number and remain reasonably available during the pickup and delivery periods.
Shipment Condition and Personal Property
You or your authorized representative should inspect and photograph the shipment before pickup.
Unless expressly approved in writing, you must remove personal property, valuables, loose materials, tools, electronics, household goods, hazardous materials, and prohibited cargo from the shipment.
Personal property left inside a vehicle, boat, RV, trailer, machine, or other transported item may not be covered by transportation or cargo insurance.
Inspection and Damage Claims
You or your authorized representative should inspect the shipment at pickup and delivery.
Visible damage should be noted on the bill of lading, inspection report, delivery receipt, or other transportation document before the driver leaves whenever reasonably possible.
Damage claims should be submitted promptly and should include available supporting documentation, such as:
- The quote or order number
- The bill of lading
- Pickup and delivery inspection reports
- Before-and-after photographs
- A description of the claimed damage
- Repair estimates
- Proof of ownership
Claims may be governed by the applicable bill of lading, carrier agreement, insurance policy, tariff, service agreement, and applicable law.
Los Angeles Hauling Service does not guarantee that a carrier or insurance provider will approve a claim.
Insurance
Insurance coverage depends on the motor carrier, shipment type, insurance policy, coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, transportation documents, and cause of loss.
A statement that a carrier is insured does not guarantee that every type of damage, delay, mechanical problem, personal item, or loss will be covered.
You are responsible for determining whether additional cargo, equipment, property, marine, or other insurance is appropriate for your shipment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Los Angeles Hauling Service does not act as an insurance company or insurance agent.
Payments and Additional Charges
You agree to pay all charges stated in the accepted quote, invoice, rate confirmation, order confirmation, or transportation agreement.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Incorrect dimensions or weight
- Pickup or delivery location changes
- Schedule changes
- Waiting time or detention
- Storage or redelivery
- Failed pickup attempts
- Additional permits or escorts
- Specialized equipment
- Loading or unloading assistance
- Services not included in the original quote
You authorize Los Angeles Hauling Service and its payment providers to process approved charges using the payment method you provide.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may be included in the applicable quote, invoice, order confirmation, or transportation agreement.
Cancellation charges may apply when a carrier has been assigned, a driver has been dispatched, permits have been requested, escort services have been reserved, specialized equipment has been scheduled, or the shipment is not ready at the agreed time.
Deposits, booking fees, permit expenses, broker fees, and other disclosed charges may be nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law.
